At present we provide a 7 day capsule camp for the interested EARTH CITIZENS at RANGERS. The schedule is as follows and can be changed or customized on the specific interest of the guest. Here a stay like staying in home is more encouraged and appreciated. At present we have no power there so we manage with solar energy in our base camp at RANGERS. The guest to inform me well in advance 15 days at least. In case of emergency I will find a solution for them.
DAY 1
Walking to the beach though forest from the camp (1KM) and find yourself with sun, sand and sea. Here you are isolated from the rest of the world. Chant SHANTI (peace). We manage cooking your food with your help and serve it on the beach.
DAY 2
Visit to the Hindu pilgrimage town of Puri (15kms) which is a major tourist attraction of this state. Here you come across temples, sadhus (saints), the local handicraft bazaar, and the swargdwar which means the doorway to heaven. According to Hindu belief dead bodies are burnt here in Puri on the shores of waves so that the soul can rest peacefully in heaven. watch them burning and realize how small we are in this world.
DAY 3
Visit to the Sun temple of Konark on the beach. Understand it's mythological and historical background. The road to Konark is 20 kms from the camp and has a splendid view of forest, rivers, and beach.
DAY 4
Explore the spirit of YOGA in a nearby ASHRAM, where you meet GURUS (teachers) SADHUS (saints) and students from all over the world are united to show you how to explore the peace within yourself and the power of mind through meditation.
Day 5
Spend a day with the local fisherman village and manage a catch for your food for day with his help or your own. Go river or sea.
DAY 6
Time to see witness the stone carvings by the ancient caste of artisans who helped in making KONARK. Learn about the statues, the ornaments, the design, the instruments and the lifestyles of thses people.
DAY 7
Trip to the temple city of Bhubaneswar the state capital city . Here many temples of 12 and 13 century stone marvels of design and deities. Peace Pagoda (a Buddhist temple on the river bank where the teachings of AHIMSA (non violence) was written by the King Asoka after a bloody battle with the native land.3rd century BC), KHANDAGIRI (the rock cut caves used by the ancient sadhus and JAIN temple).
