About our business:
In 2001 we gave up our humdrum 'rat race' jobs and moved north from near Stirling to live, almost quite literally, on the shores of Loch Ness. Everyone the world over knows of Loch Ness because of a certain 'monster' but there is so much more to the area than the legend. Loch Ness and the surrounding area is wild and beautiful, rich in wildlife, flora and history which, particularly on the south side of the loch where Evergreen is located, has remained largely unspoilt by the ravages of human development. Single track roads still dominate the area and the total population on the south side barely reaches four figures.
Our aim has always been to minimise the impact of our business on the environment (we are rated Green Tourism Gold Standard - the highest rating under our country's grading scheme) while at the same time providing guests with first class accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy their break to the full and if they wish, the chance to experience and understand the area, much of which has remained unchanged in hundreds or thousands of years.
To this end we can pick up/drop off guests from the station in Inverness or the airport and offer guests a complete holiday package including guided walks and car tours, tailored to their individual requirements.
