Offerings: What we offer is individual care and attention. With only four rooms, there are only ever a few people staying at one time and our intention is to meet the individual needs of each of our guests. The surroundings are secluded with the back veranda overlooking the river, with a small beach area and swimming in summer. The hot tub overlooks the river, the hammock the back lawn.

The food is simple, healthy and delicious and we cater for meat eaters, vegans and vegetarians, as well as people with food allergies.

Room rates are between NZ$140 - NZ$250/day which includes breakfast and use of the facilities. Lunch is NZ$15 and dinner NZ$20. The wellness services of massage, bodywork, postural awareness, yoga therapy and individual and couples counselling are NZ$70 an hour. Fasting is NZ$100/day plus the room rate.

Bodywork
Would you like to feel greater ease and comfort in your body? Bodywork restores flexibility and movement, balance and postural alignment to your body. It addresses the causes of pain and tension, while also attending to the symptoms, and will reduce the likelihood of injury and dysfunction.
Because your body is constantly affected by the way you physically deal with stress, we will help you to understand, and release, these tensions.
We will also offer you options for change which will leave you feeling more comfortable and naturally at ease.
We achieve this through a combination of relaxing massage, connective tissue release, deep tissue massage, as well as joint movement and muscle balancing through stretching and toning.
You will also be given a set of stretching and/or toning exercises designed to suit your particular body pattern, so that you can keep your body balanced and aligned.

Yoga therapy
We will create for you a tailor-made yoga routine that will help you to understand, and explore, your body patterns. Through these sessions, you will be well on your way to achieving lasting ease and comfort.
You don't need to be flexible to benefit from yoga therapy. This practice is certainly not about contorting your body into weird and wonderful shapes. It is about exploration, balance, ease and freedom. Our form of yoga focuses on balancing your body and mind with your emotions, while enhancing your awareness of yourself. It is a unique blend of ancient yoga techniques from India and the current western systems of structural bodywork, postural alignment, movement awareness and education.
The techniques we use are subtle and gentle, softening your body from within to release tension and inhibitions held in your body. This will foster an attitude of curiosity and compassion, as we encourage you to explore the limits and joys of your body. Specific postures and movement patterns will be used to create new options for moving about in your body. This in turn will relieve pain, stress and tension - in your body and your life!

Organic Juice Fasting
Enjoy the feeling of freshness on the inside, unclogged, revitalized and ready to go. That feeling you get when you have had a good long shower, washed your hair, attended to everything - experience that feeling on the inside and let it glow right through you.
To cleanse the body from the inside, we fast and use a variety of techniques to rejuvenate and detoxify. Fasting is not just about not eating, it is about supporting the body to cleanse and restore itself while you give it a rest from digesting food.

Postural Awareness

Postural movement is a system for becoming conscious of your habitual movement patterns and creating more functional use of your body.
Poor posture, physical injury, environmental factors, emotional trauma, stress and your attitudes all affect the way you move and use your body.
Movement awareness incorporates a wide range of physical activities and exercises. This includes the mindful study of how you move and hold yourself, how you breathe, walk, sit and perform the many activities of your daily life.
Through awareness gained, you will discover more balanced, energy-efficient and stress-free movement in your body. This conscious and aligned body movement will give you more energy, grace and bodily freedom.

Conscious communication
Conscious communication will enrich your relationships and enhance your ability to express yourself.
Conscious Communication is meaningful communication, an expression of how you sense, feel and think in relation to the world around you.
When you can effectively express yourself, you will be recognised and understood by your audience, whether personal or professional.
Through conscious communication you will also discover deeply-held and often unconscious beliefs based on significant experiences from your past.
Conscious communication combined with the safe, nurturing and accepting environment created here, allows you to access limiting beliefs and the emotions around them, giving you the opportunity to release the influences of your past.
In so doing, you will move on - and the new possibilities that will open up for you will be limitless.

Couples therapy
Do you long to lie beside you spouse or partner, feeling connected, open, satisfied and vibrant?
We will work with you through whatever it is that is standing between you and the intimacy you long to share with your partner.
In the safe, nurturing environment created here, we invite you to take the time to explore your intimate relationship, to improve your understanding of yourself and each other. From this increased awareness, insights into the dynamic between you will begin to emerge. We offer support to help you find your way through your relationship maze. Our focus is not only to help sort out particular issues but also to learn a way of dealing with any challenging issue that you may face as a couple.
We understand the roller coaster ride that can be intimate relationship. We also understand what it is like when things fall apart and what it takes to keep a relationship alive and satisfying.
